This was created so that we do not double-dip on discounts w/manually created discount codes.
Note: Products must have 0.00 in the compare price field when setting up products you cannot just not enter anything or the price compare rule will not apply. And don't be fooled if you think you see 0.00... there is a slight variation in font that will indicate if the 0.00 is entered or not. I know this sounds weird... but it matters and it has to be correct or you will have multiple discounts applied to a product. When not sure, manually enter 0.00 in the compare price field.
